At Tazel Charity Organization Uganda (TCOU), we have been dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable and orphaned children. For years, we have rented a facility that has served as a haven for our children — a place filled with love, safety, and hope.

However, we are now facing an urgent crisis. The owner of our rented home has informed us that he needs the property for personal use. This unexpected development has left us in a vulnerable position. We now urgently need to secure a permanent home to continue our mission of caring for children in need.

We have found a remarkable opportunity — a 4-hectare piece of land in Namusera, Wakiso District. This land offers us the chance to build a sustainable and self-sufficient community hub that will include:

  1. Children’s Center Home: A permanent, loving residence for children without families.
  2. Community School: Providing access to quality education for children in our care and from the local area.
  3. Health Center: Delivering essential healthcare services to our children and the wider community.
  4. Community Church: A space for spiritual growth and community gatherings, promoting unity and purpose.

To turn this vision into reality, we need to raise $133,875 USD. Here’s a breakdown of the costs:

  1. Land Purchase – $94,420 USD
  2. Construction of Tazel Children’s Center

Materials – $28,890
Includes cement, bricks, steel, roofing, electrical, plumbing, paint, and other building supplies.

Labor – $10,565
Covers wages for construction workers, a site supervisor, electricians, and plumbers.
